Troy has been operating the Cherry Street lift bridge over the Keating Channel since 2006. With the bridge slated for demolition in late 2021 after we install a new fixed bridge over the channel, Troy is the last bridge operator at this location.

This Ellis Don crew member was inspecting an inventory of large rocks stored on Cousins Quay. Behind him, you can see a marine landscaping barge, used to create the new shoreline. These aggregates, all locally sourced, have since been placed along the new shoreline. Taken July 2019
